The Radio Television Digital News Foundation is actively monitoring developments with COVID-19 and the spread of the Omicron variant. RTDNF has implemented the following precautions to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 and keep attendees as safe as possible:

Vaccination

Though no longer required by the District of Columbia, RTDNF is requiring all attendees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (Fully vaccinated means at least two doses of Pfizer or Moderna or one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine). All First Amendment Awards Dinner attendees will have to show a photo ID as well as proof of vaccination upon checking in for the First Amendment Awards Dinner. Proof of vaccination includes:

  • Hard copy or photo of CDC-issued vaccination card
  • Record of immunization from healthcare provider or public health agency
  • COVID-19 verification app (CLEAR, VaxYes, MyIr and Excelsior)

Masks

Masks are required for all attendees at the First Amendment Awards Dinner unless actively eating, drinking, or presenting an award. The proper use of masks is required by the Marriott Marquis Washington DC.

RTDNF thanks everyone in advance for adhering to our COVID-19 policies. Any questions or concerns can be directed to events@rtdna.org.
